Home SPA

I have been fairly fortunate to go to a lot of great Exclusive Spas in the world. I love going to the Spa and I try doing it regularly. Whether travelling or at home, I must always find time and money for Spa treatments. My belief is that you always must spoil yourself, your body and soul. What better place to go than Spa, which is a perfect place for stress release, relaxing, and the pursuit of wellness. Going to the spa is great for both our body and our mind, but it’s often hard to find the time or money for it. If you think “Oh it is so expensive” don’t get disappointed. Fortunately, you can make your own spa in your own home. Find time and invite your girlfriends for spa treatments that won’t cost that much and that will make you feel and look like a million dollar.

Here are 3 treatment recipes:

Treatment 1 – Red Grape Face Mask

Hard to believe, but red grapes are not only tasty, but also extremely valuable for our health. The skin of red grapes contains a powerful anti-aging chemical called resveratrol, in other words a modern elixir of life. Also, grapes and cranberries contain a lot of vitamin A and C.

To make the mask you will need:

1 cup seedless red grapes
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 teaspoons grapefruit juice
1 envelope unflavored gelatin

Mash up and mix these ingredients together by hand until it becomes a paste. Let it chill for 45 minutes until it thickens. Then let it sit for 10 minutes and apply to clean skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash or clean it off with hot water and then cold water.

Treatment 2 – Skin Exfoliating Scrub

We all know that sugar is bad for our body, but what most of us aren’t aware of is that it is good for our skin, of course when used as scrub and not consumed. Among other things, sugar scrub stimulates both cells and senses and gives you glowing skin.

You will need these ingredients:

1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup almond oil
1 teaspoon liquid vitamin E
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix ingredients and remember to add sugar last. Apply on body in a circular motion and wash it off.

Treatment 3 – Milk and Honey Bath
If you have tired and sore feet, this footbath is perfect for relaxing your feet. The milk helps replenish dry skin and reduce irritation, while the cinnamon helps stimulate circulation.

All you need is:

3-5 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup whole milk

Mix these ingredients. Fill tub with warm water. Remember to apply a little bit of honey on your feet before you stir in the mixture. Let your tired feet soak for 10-15 minutes. Relax and enjoy.

Another thing, you can make ginger tea and enjoy it afterwards. Among other things, ginger is good for detoxification.

So, remember to spoil yourself, because taking care of yourself in this way is truly essential to your health. So, whether it is at an exclusive Spa or simply at your home you should find time to treat yourself.
